Delete Your Account
This page explains how to delete your SurvivalKnife account and the data tied to it. It applies to SurvivalKnife on iPhone and on Android, from Atherton Labs LLC. You can delete your account yourself in the App, or ask us to do it by email.
Delete in the App
iPhone: open Family Management, then choose Delete Account and confirm.
Android: open Household, then Settings, then Account & alerts, then Delete Account and confirm.
If the App is no longer installed, reinstall it, sign in with the same Apple or Google account, and follow the steps above.
Delete by email
If you cannot use the App, email dev@survivalknife.ai from the address on your account, with the subject "Delete my SurvivalKnife account". Tell us whether you use iPhone or Android. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before we act.
What is deleted
- Your account record on our servers is removed or anonymized, so it no longer identifies you (name, email and sign-in identifier);
- Household content you shared through our servers, such as profiles, contacts, addresses, vehicles, inventory, plans, saved materials, routes, map pins and photos;
- Your push notification registrations and device names;
- Your seat in any household. If you are the household owner, the household is dissolved and its shared content is deleted for all members;
- The data stored on your device is erased once our server confirms the deletion.
What is not deleted
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) subscription settings to stop billing. Purchase records held by Apple or Google are theirs to manage;
- Copies in device backups, such as iCloud or your Google account backup, which you control through your backup settings;
- Technical logs kept by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security and operations, which expire on their own schedule;
- Anything we are required to keep by law.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can turn off sharing categories in the App (iPhone: Family Management → Sharing; Android: Household → Settings → Sharing and sync), remove individual items or profiles, or email us to ask for a specific record to be deleted. The Personal Vault is never sent to our servers, so it is removed only by deleting the App or its data from your device.
